Gettting back into running slowly

It's been about one year of not running and gaining weight. I've been slowly ramping up my mileage and losing some pounds and hope to get in an Ultra before the end of the month.

How did your ultra go? Plantar fasciitis can be very painful, especially in the morning before stretching, as I'm sure you well know. Good luck with the running! :)
