Well Saturdays trail run was far from perfect. Although I got 10 miles in, it was not a pretty sight throughout the training. Most of the time I was gasping for air, even though I felt that my lungs were at full capacity. So I'll chalk this one as, I'm not quite recovered from my cold/allergies for now. At least I got in some decent hill repeats.
As I type this I have not run since last Saturday, but I try a street run tonight. Let's hope I can get in an easy 7 miles for today with a rest on Friday.

Hi Justin,
I came across your blog through Jessica's. I do a lot of trailrunning and Ultrarunning in your neck of the woods. I live in T.O. I am quite a bit slower than you, but if you are ever interested in a slow recovery/trail run with some distance, let me know.
By the way, I noticed that you are looking for a 100K from your list of races. I am planning on doing a quadruple Bulldog (4 loops - 100K) at the end of the year. I am trying to find a few others that might be interested in joining me. I am also looking at running the 150 mile MS bike tour that goes from T.O. to Santa Barbara in October. I realize these are not the same as races, but since you are local, thought you might have some interest.
Good luck with your training. I will be out at Malibu Creek this weekend.
